Was rooting around in the Canyon Truck junkyard here in Canon City, Colorado the other day, and saw a 1957 Dodge "500" cab over 2WD utility truck. Very cool and looks to be 98% complete. Not beat up or rusted out. Engine hoods on each side open to side of truck. Has a 14' utility bed which has a roof and built in crew cab which is big enough for 3 or 4 people to sit on a bench seat (big enough to be converted to a sleeper). Has what looks like a 315 V-8 which is missing the air cleaner. Gear shift has a trigger for split axle or OD? Dual rear wheels with outside rim missing on driver's side. Has a huge A-frame boom mounted on top of the utility bed.
Doubt they are going to sell any parts off it any time soon, but would make a unique addition to a Dodge truck nut's collection.
