That does seem high for the 6 speed and higher gears?? I wonder what the final OD drive ratio is in 6th? Are you running the stock tires? At around 10,000 to 15,000 you will star breaking it in and you will notice a dramatic fuel mileage increase. With OD you should be at around 1900, are you sure that you don't have the 4:10's?
