If the price of junk has gone sky high, how come whenever I haul some 'junk' in for scrap metal, the scrap prices keep going lower and lower???? About 4-5 years ago, I could haul some scrap out of a guys yard and make good money after paying for fuel and such. Now in order for me to atleast make a teeny bit of profit, I have to Charge about $30 a pickup load to cover fuel, time, tear and wear etc.
