I am re-using an old set of manifolds I had.

The exhaust manifold is in great shape, and that's usually the one that's cracked and burnt out!
The intake manifold is anotehr story.
The bolts were so rusted to the cast iron that they broke when I attempted to remove them.

I reworked it also, and all is well except I now need one small part to finish.

After trying to remove the old governor, I broke the base plate that holds the carburetor to the top of the manifold.

Its the cast plate that's about 3/4" thick, that mounts the carb in a 90 degree offset from the manifold. Its held to the intake manifold using two flathead screws.

In the Dodge Master parts book, on page 52, under Fuel group 3, its called a "body flange adapter"

Cyrysler # 589123, for early engines and item
# 920248 for later T-211. Not sure but I think either will work.

Anybody out there got one of these?

Thank you, Dave Austin
