Is that type of cleaning done with it in the truck? The part I don't get is if you have a 180 deg stat in, it opens at around that temp. Till it opens you only circulate the water in the block and no way is there enough water in the block to keep it from over heating. So if you stat works right it should keep you engine warmed up unless it is stuck open. A engine at proper opperating temps removes the water condinsaion out of the block and if it runs to cold like around 160 or lower this can be a problem. Even the Dodge manuals state that it should be around 180 and if stop and go you should run a higher one to stop this problem from happening. I would be concerned if my engine never got above 160 degs I would think my stat is not doing it's job it is intended for. Mark H.
