Canadian trucks do have the 251 instead of the 230..which I think is a plus. I think there were two different transmissions used there, at least one (Cosmopolitan) was different than the US ones. The PTOs are different also. ...and very hard to find.

The windshield frame is a little different to allow the Canadian arctic top to be mounted. Actually, I think all the Canadian trucks were originally fitted with the arctic top.,

I did have a Canadian M-37 and I found a few other minor differences. I think it is a good choice if it otherwise meets your expectations.
