That is what I am tring to find out. It never boils or loses water and if it was a new style motor I would never worry they run all the time in those temps. I guess I worry to much but I got a lot of bucks tied up in this truck and want it right. I run the 180 stat to keep the engine warm and no condinsation in the block. Just those higher temps was bugging me some. Heck I even have 2 water temp gauges just in case along with a extra oil presure gauge under the hood to verifi the original one with. Mark H.
