Hi,
Based on what I've heard...you should have a divorced 205 transfer case. The main case of the 205 is cast iron, but the bolt on output shaft support is alumunim.
I've got a '78 Trailduster with the married 203 full time. I believe all the early trucks '73/74 and earlier were divorced 205, '74/75-/79 were married 203, '80 and later were married 205 (HD), married 208/241. '85 and later got the central axle disconnect (CAD) front axle.
