You do your base camo pattern (preferrably bright fall colors for the full freaky effect) and let it dry. Then you get some tree branches (with leaves) and ferns and shoot another camo pattern of drab colors over top of the vegetation. You can get a real crisp outline, almost photographic. Lean towards overspray on the base coat so it has a little tooth for the final coat (sanding is for masochists). The final job looks shiny at first, but industrial enamels oxidize and fade quick. There is no such thing as runs, those are "protective overlaps." It's ugly, but that's kind of the point...best one was on a Datsun wagon but it messed with the cops' minds too much, I was always getting pulled over.
