Insurance for my WDX in Canada is $1200/year with comprehensive. I could put a vintage plate on it but then you can only drive it in a parade or sanctioned P/W event. A collector plate can be used which costs about $300/year, but that plate is for pleasure only...never to or from work. I keep my truck at work & often drive it during the day so I have no choice to buy the expensive regular insurance.
