I think there's an old TM on the subject of radio equipment in gas-powered vehicles. It thought I had it, but can't seem to find it at the moment. If it's what I'm thinking of, it covers all the standard electrical noise sources and how to diagnose and fix them. Lack of spark noise is one of the big advantages of a diesel.
