Paint recommendations

I'm about to start getting Old Blue ready for paint and plan to paint him in about 3 weeks or so. My painting experience is somewhat limited and I'd like to get some thoughts on an easy to use paint brand. I've used Martin Senior acrylic enamel with good results, but I'd really like some input on other brands that are high quality yet relatively user friendly. Any particular brands that stand out, good or bad?

I'll be using a DeVilbiss HPLV top feed gun. I'd like a finish that looks more original-no metallics or anything fancy.

How about clear coats? The truck will almost never see snow and is always garaged. Do I need a clear coat or is the paint itself durable enough given the circumstances.

I'm not looking for a show quality job-the truck will be a work truck. But I would like it to be presentable and proud to be a Dodge.

Thanks for your help!
