I looked closer at my 47WDX and there is too much surface rust and dirt to tell what color they are supposed to be. The 1952 FFPW axle housings are definitely the body color which is green. A possible painting color scheme change somewhere along the FFPW line. This truck has never had a resto or a repaint as I am the third owner and know the history.
