My Edelbrock Performer is actually a Weber or at least that is what the castings indicate. I am running a 425 cfm on a rebuilt 360. Get the metering rod kint and fool with the carb to dial it in. As for off road performance, order the $10 offf road kit. When first installed the wasboard desert roads caused the carb to stall out unless under acceleration. The easily installed kit solved that problem. I have never had any side hill or steep angle of ascent problems.
