Are you leaking engine oil or gear lube?
Looks like you're pointing at the throwout bearing - a ring that is pressed towards the engine to take the pressure off the pressure plate and disengage the clutch.
Paul's thoughts on the rear main seal reflect my own. Engine removal appears likely.
