I took the WDX out to a car show yesterday & saw a 1947 Chrysler Woody that was quite a sight. The great thing about this car was not the rarity of it but that it was literally rotten like a pear! The wood was just falling off of it & when you looked at it, the only thing that went through my mind was that this thing couldn't possibly have driven here under it's own power could it have?
It was quite a sight...this guy had taken it on a tour of North America & it appeared as though he'd never washed it in the 20 years that he'd owned it & I loved it just like it was! I love restored vehicles but I must admitt, if this guy restored this car it would be worthless to me.
