I was looking at mine the other day and started thinking ( I know... very dangerous!)of ways to repair them. I knew welding would be out of the question because of brittleness and losing the spring, but what about use crimp connectors? The kind that telephone companys use and crimp with what looks like a big pair of bolt cutters. We use these on high tensile fence and they have tremendous holding power. Any thoughts? Kevin
