That plye of wood needs to be split some more for next winters supply. I have the coming winters all ready done. We heat with a air tite wood stove totaly and use about 3 1/2 to 4 cord a year. I try to keep a 2 year supply on hand it burns a lot better cured for 2 years. My wife and the hydraulic spliter will make short order of that stack. She keeps in shape that way and saves my back for better things! We love it here and I could not drag my family away if I wanted too. Mark H.
