Did you put new electrolyte in as well?
I would be very interested in what a hydrometer test shows on this battery.
Throw it in the back of your PW and run over to Sears for a one of their free load tests. I will bet that this one is long gone.
If you have this one wired to charge from your truck, it could also damage your charging circuit.
I spent some time around batteries and would replace this one unless you are fond of experiments.
