Personal suggestion? Take the Rescue truck from Judd! Place to sleep in case of inclimate weather, generator for juice if needed. It may get less milage than even a regular flat fender, but it's also alot roomier than the 'deep comfortable cab' of a standard truck. Just a thought!! I made it from S.E. Nebraska to S.E. Iowa in eight hours... from CA to IA... I'm thinkin' you should have left by now!
