My buddy Paul and I drove to Fairfield from Lincoln, NE, last year. 300 miles, eight hours and four hearing aids later, we're okay now. Sitting right next to each other in that 'deep comfortable cab', we still had to yell most of the trip. What's funny is, on one of my first trips in a Flat Fender, Judd and I were driving through Menard's parking lot (10mph), yelling at each other and folks were looking. I thought they liked the truck, but Judd smiled and said the truck is really quite outside and folks look at you in the truck 'cause you're inside YELLING at each other, they can't hear all that NOISE!! (They're noisy inside Ron, in case you didn't notice...)
