It does seem to me that the passenger side is the side most prone to rub with the GG tires. I am assuming that your adapter plates are mounted to the inside. On ours, when it did rub, there was some problem with the rear fender bottom mounting bracket being knocked out of kelter. You might try jacking, or pressing the bracket rearward. Tom
