As long as they werent original 1948 Dodge gaskets you should be fine. But still I look at it like this. Between myself and the old lady all 3 of my synthetic vehicles were in some form of commuting duty and putting a lot of highway miles on em. My older Mopars see limited driving and I change the oil in them usually when the time is up instead of miles. It would not be good to go 6000 miles on synthetic in your PowerWagon if it takes 3 years to get that 6000 miles.

Just some rambling thoughts here but the 230 even rebuilt with its old oiling system and no emissions would still dirty the oil and require a frequent change like normal.

I guess using synthetic in your POwer Wagon will probably get you better protection but not the solution to not changing the oil.
