My 59 W300 has gone a LONG way since I bought it in April of 2001, 872 miles from WA-CO, 1262 miles from CO-WI, 359 miles from WI-IN, plus another 200 miles for side trips.
Total miles traveled since I owned it: 2693
Total miles under it's own power: 0
My 59 PW TW travled 1600 miles or so, none under it's own power.
My 64 PW TW had a better ratio, 1200 miles without power, 1/4 mile under power, 400 miles without power, 2-3 miles under power, and then another 300 miles without power. It lived it's final days with me doing tow duty in a friends yard, and it got about 1 mile on it there. This was all between Dec 1998 and Oct 2002. Total travel under power about 5 miles, total travel without power 1900. So 5 miles in 4 years, about 1.25 miles a year. Since Ron has owned it it traveled MANY MANY times that.
The other trucks I have owned were driven for short periods, so their ratios are higher, and hard to gauge.
Maybe someday I will own a REAL Power-Wagon that runs, and then I can get some real numbers on the boards!
