No but there sure are a lot of problems posted on the sites electricly related to wiring. There are reasons for up dating things from the past. Take oil do you use non detergent still? How about alcohal in the radiator? I am sure you replace old style fuel lines and a few sockets on your lamps. You can fake it with old style looking wire for the effect but I would frown on rubber coated, cloth coverd wire in a truck that is 60+ years old. If you do don't bend it or disturb it much and make sure during the last 60 years of it being around and messed with that it is still fused right and the conections are good. I know all the contacts are still clean and bright like they were when they were new. It has lasted a long time with out problems and I bet you would not feel funny taking a 200 mile road trip on the 60 year old tires with out a spare to! Mark H.
