I brather follow a truck then some lady putting on make/up or talking with someone on the Cell Phone. Truckers put a lot of miles on the road and pay there fair share of road taxes and licence fees. Heck the writtin test and driving test would eliminate most who would try. I know, I drive a school bus with air brake indorsment and the drug tests alone would stop 50% of the people wanting the job. You can't even get drunk the day befor you drive or take most cold meds let alone pain pills for that sore back you have. Subject to lower DWI limints, and drug tests at any time. Blood test after a wreck even if it is not your fault, get a good ticket and you lost your job right now. Better have a clean driving record they go back a long ways to check too! FBI back ground check, State Patrol Check along with a Local Police Dept Check. Better not be a child molester they check that to and ask you to sign papers stating your past life during the summer befor you start work at the begining of the school year too! They also check again. You have to take a phyisical, first aid and CPR classes. and stay current on them just to have the job. And you can't beat the kids when you realy want to you will go to jail!!
