This is where maybe I have missed out. Are there some 1-ton Power Wagons with neoprene wipers? I have never seen any.
I know my W300's Dana 70 has neoprene wipers, and calls out the gear lube, but any Power Wagon or M-series axle I have disassembled has had the felt wipers and grease fittings.
When you pump the grease in, pump until it comes out the other hole, then rotate the axle (and joint assembly) to move the grease around, then pump some more. If you just pump until it comes out and stop, you can easily have some pretty big voids in the fill.
