Sorry Steve, but $10,000 would be about right. You fail to take note of the custom flatbed that he bought for it (I'd guess that in itself is a couple grand), those tires would be close to a grand, the rims were powder coated, the transfer case was rebuilt. The wiring harness alone is around $500. He rebuilt the front end, sandblasted and coated the frame, and last time I checked, red paint was especially pricey. Thats not mentioning anything about the interior, brake work, lights, and all the little details that go into a quality restoration.
I can easily see $8,000 into it.
I don't think that Mark is "Bulls#%ting us at all.
