It depends on the condition of the one you find and how much work you are willing to do to it, etc. You didn't specify WDX~WM300 or if you were looking for a W-#00 "civilian" style. I went through/am going through the same conundrum myself, albeit on a significantly smaller scale.

My current philosophy is
1) find one that is beat to hell, with or without a drive-line and "restore" it to be the way you want it, rather than one that is completely intact, but just in need of a restore. In other words, don't chew up a "good" one

2) get an M-37 or an M 715. Not that the PW couldn't handle the work, but these two are, in my mind, better for the application as you "loose" less if you work them hard. The caveat to the M 715 is the engine, but that drive train is something else in stock condition.
