Ok. . So I bought a 1947 WDX Power Wagon and got it running. So I am taking this thing out for a drive (for the first time)and I will be damned if I can't shift the gears without grinding the a pound of metal from the poor tranny gears. What the hell is double clutching and what is it supposed to accomplish. Or to rephrase the question, How do you do it? Are you supposted to match engine RPM, or just push the clutch in again while it's in Neutral? I don't know. I was born with Syncro's in my life, and I am trying to learn Old School here. HELP !
