Help, my front axle and drive flange are stuck!!

I have a 1941 Dodge WC 1/2 ton. I am rebuilding the front axle and cannot get the drive flange disconnected from the front axle on the passenger side. The truck didn't run when I got it and I don't know how long this drive flange has been on. Or if it had ever been removed previously. I've tried heating it, and using a gear puller. Nothing seems to budge it. If anyone has ever had this problem and resolved it, I would appreciate hearing from you. Thanks, Jay
