No, but you can thank Dodge for the name. The Suburban Town Wagon was originated by Dodge in the Twenties or earlier, the name was shared by Plymouth and gm later that decade and last used by Dodge in the 30's whereupon gm copyrighted the name (much like a few other things that they "invented"). Dodge dropped the Suburban name from the Town wagon and then dropped the Town Wagon also. Much like the original Crew Cabs which were first found on Dodges and are just now coming back as four door trucks throughout the industry.
