1948 Dodge Power Wagon $3,500
This 1948 Flat Fender Power Wagon serial # 83907039 runs very well and starts right up. The brakes are great as well as the power train, no problems that I am aware of in the motor or power train. The truck has a new exhaust system and sounds great.

The truck currently has Michelin 11.00-16's mounted on newly powder coated (black) wheels, they look great. The tires have been re grooved. I also have two new NDT tires for the truck, one mounted as a spare on a black powder coated wheel. I also have 5 extra wheels for the truck with the smaller lock ring designed for tires smaller than the 900-16.

The truck currently has a small dump box bed one it, with out the hydraulic system. There is no tail gate for the bed. The past owner has had this truck for some time and only used is to haul wood. He did not have much info on the previous owner(s).

I have an original first series bed for the truck. This bed is extremely rare as it has cut outs for Two spare tires, one on each side. I do not have the tail gate or fenders for the bed. The bed will need wood.

The gauges work and the truck has 43 to 45 lbs oil pressure all day long. The speedo does not work. The seat is okay but could use some stuffing on the drivers side. The dash lights, head lights and heater work. The throttle is there and also works well. The truck came with a dealer installed brass fire extinguisher mounted on the drivers side on the truck.

The truck has factory rear shocks. The factory winch works well, the bumper is not original and could use repair/work.

The floor boards are rusted and need replaced. They have a plate over them and work well, it just depends on your use for the truck, work or possibly restore. There are two locations on the frame that have a plate welded to it, possibly from a crack, I am not sure. I looked at the frame and it does not look bent.

When I bought the truck it had been sitting for about two years. The previous owners said it needed a battery and should start right up. I bought a 1000 amp 6 volt for it and it was running within 5 minutes. In just a few minutes the truck ran very smooth. I told the owner that I would be back with a trailer to take the old girl home and he replied , (about 100 miles and one long and steep grade!) just drive it home!, So I Did! Not one problem and turned many heads, even for North Idaho.

You will not be disappointed in this Power Wagon!

Clear Idaho Title.
