Pull the head and take a look at the top of the bore clean any scrap out that doesn't belong in their. If you were real careful at taking the head gasket of and you don`t see any damage go to your local Napa store and pick up a can of spray on copper coat.(I believe that is what it is called it is in a copper can.)
And if you damaged the gasket you could also get a new one their.
