Vaughn, yes, the WC61 is 1.5 ratio. It's identical to the 38631 case except the rear output port isn't machined out large enough to accept the 1.96 ratio gear, and it has a 3/4" eye cast in above the front output. I decided to go with the 1.96 ratio, as I've installed 4.89 gears, and wanted the lower 1st gear. Yes, I have the cast iron brackets, numbers match my parts book, and new rubber bushings from AB Linn (M37). It still seems odd that by moving the t-case forward about 1" it could move up about 1" inside the crossmember. Oh well! Just wanted to make sure I wasn't headed down the wrong path. BTW, I've gone to the centered rear axel, and made a hybrid 200/201 transfer case to eliminate the old rear output assembly. It required minor machining of the case and the front axel shift shaft.
