I have not seen that in my PWs. However, both Hondas that I have owned do it in reverse when I am backing up a very steep hill. The only solution is to release the clutch increase the gas and burn a little of the clutch while letting it slip a little or burn rubber. Far as I am concerned it is a bad design if that is happening. I suspect is is caused by too high of a gear ratio for the load conditions.
