Hello,
my problem:
when i drive my Dodge m37 under higher loads in 4th gear (driving up a hill or simillar).
It produces a knocking noise.
The spark splugs were white.

My thoughts were:
ignition out of time (checked, is ok)
too lean mixture (checked the main
jet=>ok, adjusted the idle mixture
screw=> no difference)

Could it be the spark plugs are too hot?
Or fuel pump does not provide enuogh fuel to the carb under high loads?
Or any other possibilities?

I donīt think its a piston pin or a bearing, because the noise only appears when the engine is under higher loads.
It idles very well without any noise, also at high rpm thereīs no noise.
Please Help!!!!
best regards
TIM
