Hey, Joe, I don't know you and I am only barely following this thread, but don't let the knuckleheads drive you off. I get the impression you are the recipient of the "longest distance traveled" award last year, and I say YOU DESERVE IT. I am trying to decide whether or not to drive my rig to Hollister (it's about 2 hours by "regular car") or try to trailer it somehow. If you travel the farthest, you travel the farthest. Until they have a separate award for the "Idiot That Drove Their Old Heap Dodge Way More Hours Than Was Comfortable To Get To This Rally" award, then it's the farthest distance, simple as that.
If you don't want to come to the rally this year, at least come to California, and you're welcome at my place. We can drink a few beers, see about visiting Ed Cerepak in my PW at his Volvo dealership, and raise a bit of hell.
