It was Only two Forums ago? I could go on and on about where I have been and why but I thought that this would explain it better!
So,….just how long does it take to make a phone call to “customer service” and explain the problem with my DSL modem?

Uh,… I’m having service problems with my DSL…CLICK, “ I’m sorry, we’re unable to understand you, is this a new service?”
No, I’m…CLICK “ You can access our on-line support at wesuck.com” NO wait!! I’m not on line because...CLICK “Stand by and the next available customer service operator will assist you”
Hello?.... “How can I help you today?” I think my DSL modem is broken,… CLICK Uh sir, that is for our experts to decide, what operating system do you have? Well it sure seems to be bro…. CLICK “I’m sorry sir we need to run an on-line diagnostic check on your system, can you please go to our web site.” Uh I’m not on-line I’m pretty sure the Fujitsu Modem is bad. CLICK, “I’m sorry sir that model Fujitsu modem is obsolete we cannot give you a new one, but we will ship a Westec modem right out by next day air” Oh great, thanks a lot! (5 days follow, the new modem, which was sent to the wrong address, arrives on Sat. but alas it doesn’t work either)

CLICK” is this a new service sir?” No I’ve been your customer for 18 months, I…CLICK “Sir our records show that you do not have DSL” No kidding it’s broke and ..CLICKS “If you are not a customer we cannot help you” But I’m looking right at my bill. My account number is..CLICK, “sir the service department is closed for the day and we are sorry that you are not getting our wesuck service, please call back on a working day between 8am and 5pm” ARGGG!
Monday morning, week two, Hello, I’d like to report a problem with…CLICK, “this is an automated customer service line that can recognize voice input, please tell us the reason for your call”
Uh,… I’m having service problems with my DSL…CLICK, “ I’m sorry, we’re unable to understand you, is this a new service?” NO! I need a service representative, CLICK “ I’m sorry sir we need to run an on-line diagnostic check on your system can you please go to our web site.” NO! Can you please sent out a service tech? CLICK, “Sir you can get our service personnel 24/7” Well that’s not what operator 327 told me and…CLICK, “I’m sorry that you were told that sir, we will send out a service tech within 48 hours”
52 hours later,…. “Hi what’s the problem?” My DSL doesn’t work! “Oh sorry, that is another crew, did you tell them that it was DSL???” ARRGGG!!! YES I did!! “Well as long as I’m here, your NID is not correctly located and 2 pair seems too old for DSL anyway, You need to call DSL service” No kidding!!

Can you please sent out a service tech,…CLICK “ I’m sorry sir, we have to go through our check list, do you have a Fujitsu Modem?” I did, but you sent me a Westec modem last week that didn’t work,….CLICK “ Sir that’s impossible, a Westec modem will not work with your system” I know tell me about it! “Sir we will send the Fujitsu modem out today” Uh your office told me that Fujitsu was no longer available?? CLICK “ Sir I don’t know who told you that, you need a Fujitsu modem, can you plug your old one in now?” I’ll look and see if I still have it, …CLICK, I show on my end that your modem is plugged in and working properly are the lights lit up?” Yes and so am I!! CLICK “Thank you sir for using wesuck DSL, have a nice day, and please contact us on-line at our web site if your service goes down again!”

I want to thank everyone who called me or expressed concern at my absence. It was a living heck! ha!ha!
