I have put some pictures up on the Mac site. These are scans of photos that employees took at the Campbell and Hercules factory in Waterloo, NY. They are of varying quality, but they are very important photos since so few exist.

The Power Wagons were dated 1954 and 1956. You will see, if you look carefully, that the PW in black and white (no date on that one) taken from the rear, shows that the rear fender is not located in exactly the same place as the others. Note that it runs above the wood trim line, whereas in the others (and mine) it runs below. Also of course, one has dual spares. So clearly they made more than one like mine but there are no records left showing how many.

As was common at these factories, the bodies were put together quickly from a stock of existing pieces....but often had to be modified on the spot for unusual applications. You can see some photos of 50s vintage Dodge 2WD with the longer Convoyer body, but they made the shorter Surrey version (which is what the PWs have) on 2WD wheelbases also.

There was one even shorter version, and I think the Fargo and the WWII vintage truck have that type of body.

For you Willys fans, there is a pretty cool truck for you too!

The link has a "Slide Show" which gives bigger views of each photo, but I noticed it is very slow to start up.
