The Dana 44 and 60 have the same shape diff cover but the 60 is bigger. You should be able to measure the back then compare. Also, the axle housing should be stamped with either a 44 or a 60 on the cast webbing on the outside of the housing about where the axle tubes are pressed in. These numbers are usually approx. 3/4 of an inch tall and are raised. Sometimes it is also stamped into the long side axle tube usually in the front and usually in the middle.
