We use 100LL (Lot's o' Lead) in our fuel trucks and tugs because we have it handy at the airport. These rigs tend to foul plugs in a hurry and don't seem too run to well on this diet. I think this is because our trucks and tugs normally run at idle with a few bursts of power as needed and don't need all that lead to cool and protect the valves. Airplanes generally run at full throttle most of the time. The avgas is great stuff for its intended purpose which is sustained high RPM and high power operations.

I am thinking about getting a small tank for unleaded pump gas for our ground equipment because I think it (and my power wagon) will operate better on that diet.
