The peak HP rating is at 3600rpm,thats what the door panel says on my truck.This GREAT PW feat took place in 1986,in my 1964 WM300 w/no bed or governor on eng. within afew months I did have a headgasket blowout which I assumed at the time was due to my second attempt to accomplish this GREAT PW feat of 80mph,at which time I had the friend following in his truck to check my speed at 60mph which he said was within afew mph.I did not attain 80mph that time due to eng.miss which was probily when the headgasket started to fail,so now you have the whole story,Jack Smith! My defensiveness comes from never being a liar or talltail teller.You have been a agravating cuss,but thats O.K.it adds a little spice to this forum,LOL!!
