He makes reproduction window frames.... last made on for a "early 40' Command car.... two piece windshield with centre bar.... cost approx. $300 US...
He says he would have to see a good one to study shape and profile of channel.... he works with mild steel. Enquired about the demand.... gave him the forum www address ... they have no web site.
NOW THE QUESTION...... He lives near the NY border.... highway 17 ...near Bingham and Elmira area.
.....Who is near enough to show this gentleman what our needs would be or to check if the pattern he used for the command car is the right one for PW.???????
A long shot would be..... is the owner of the Command Car in question in the Forum audience??
Just think...brand new windshield repros...... Now some outfit is selling steel fenders for trailers.... very similar to PW rear fenders.... I wonder if ???
