The May 96 issue of Power Wagon Advertiser, page 6 has a compilation of bolt patterns of 4spds used on 1/2 ton WCs, 3/4 ton WCs and early pre 55 nonsynchro PWs, M37s, WM300s, and W/D1-300. All New Process, 5 different types. I could fax it to you. What is the diameter of the widest part of the front bearing retainer, horizontal distance between bolt holes side to side and vertical distance between bolt holes up and down. All exactly measured, center to center. For example, the M37 and 3/4 ton WC/early non-synchro PW are different in only one dimension, vertical on one side, 1/16". The M37 and W/D 1-300 appear to be identical: 2.5" vertical on one side, 2.75" other, 8.5" wide on top, 8.75" on bottom, 5.125" bearing retainer. I just happen to have a NP420 for a M37...
