Marc, I’ve gathered these estimates from a couple of different sources and they seem to bear each other out. From 1957 to 1966 there were approximately 12,268 W100s built. 7239 with 6cyl, and 5029 with V8s. 1958 is the only year I’ve found a production number on Town Wagons - 217 (25%), so these numbers were established using 15% to 25% estimate (my other estimate came up with the 15%). Out of 12,268 total W100s, approximately 1,840 to 3,067 were Town Wagons. My interest lies with the Town Wagons with V8s so that’s what you get. Can’t wait to see your web site, as I would like to see what a restored interior looks like. Mine is a ’64 Town Wagon with an NP435 4 spd, 4.10’s with shure grip, Factory 4bbl manifold (I have a Weiand manifold that’s going on soon), Braden LU2 winch, 16.5” Eaton wheels, 33 X 12.5 BFG’s Mud Terrains. I am a graphic designer and illustrator, and I may be doing a Power Wagon book, so I am researching interesting PW’s and good restorations to photograph and profile, so if you would put your phone number down, I’ll put you down on my list. Your truck sound very interesting. Thanks, Gary Robertson 303 444 2787 (work).
