Is anyone at Dodge new vehicle development listening? How about this instead of the so-called Power Wagon concept vehicle:
A CAD/CAM/hydroformed duplicate of the 46-68 PW body, front or 4 wheel disks, power steering, get Cat to build 4 cyl version of the 3126 (180HP, 520 ft-lb), manual 6spd (the much delayed NV5600 with 0.73:1 6th gear), NP205 or Rockwell T223 cast iron transfer case, Dana 60 or 70 front axle, Dana 70 or 80 rear axle, optional Detroit Locker(s), 9.00 or 11.00R16 XZL Michelins or 335/80R20 XZLs (40.7"), diff ratios to suit tire size. Leaf springs all 4 corners with greaseable bronze bushings. How much would you pay for a vehicle like this? I'd even accept the developmental Detroit Diesel V6 4.0L intercooled diesel headed for the Durango, 160HP/260 ft-lb. And of course a PTO or hydraulic driven off the PTO 10,000 lb winch, just for realism. It would be real retro, not faux-retro/plastickey.
