Your question set off some sort of alarm in the back of my mind. Seems to me that I read about somebody else experiencing the same problem, and it was related to the computerized engine controls; a faulty sensor, or component in the "black box, or something along that vein. I believe this person had given up on dealer service, much as you describe, and taken his vehicle to a modern high performance shop, and they figured it out in relatively short order. Another idea that has it's roots in experience: has there been any work done on the valve train recently? One of my wife's Honda's exhibited loss of power, and a severe drop in gas mileage, after a major tuneup at a dealer, and the dealers people could not, or would not fix it. We took it to an independent shop that specialized in Honda's, and they promptly stated that the valves were adjusted wrong; readjusted valves did the trick. Good luck.
