Well, if, by 'flat fender' you mean a WC (as opposed to a WDX) WC's were made 41 - 45, have pretty standard mechanical components, and are almost as difficult / easy expensive/ cheap to restore and run as a later PW. Many of the earlier WC varieties were produced in LARGE quantities so things like a front axle should be no problem. All sheet metal would have to be from donor vehicles, and VPW would be able to supply most anything anyway. Some WCs are relatively cheap, even. Have a look at the WW2 Dodge Motor Pool (off MVPA Page) and try and identify it. If it is a post war WDX most of this still applies. Gordon
