My '64 w200 sits in the shop while the mechanic and I look for replacement springs
for the rear output gear in the t'case.
I have seen the problem mentioned in other postings but the solution of replacing
the gear with one from an NP 200 is kind of expensive.
Does anyone know of a source for these springs? The mechanic can't even get a part no.
and his normal NP supplier is not any help. He tried clutch return springs which were
good for about 100 miles. I need something as tough as the originals
